Whether you have opted for another service or want to take a break from Spotify, you can cancel your subscription without any hassles. However, if you have signed up for a Premium subscription directly from Spotify, you will have to use their website to cancel the subscription. You cannot use the Spotify desktop or mobile app to cancel your subscription.
How to cancel Spotify Premium?
In this post, we share two different ways you can cancel your subscription.
- Cancel Spotify using a web browser
Open your account page from the Spotify website using your Android, iPhone, or computer.Next, log in to your account. Using the mobile web browser, click on the three horizontal lines at the top-right corner and choose Login. On a desktop web browser, tap on Login at the top-right corner of the page.
Next, go to your Account page. From your mobile, click on the three horizontal lines you see at the top-right corner and select Account from the drop-down menu. Using your desktop, tap on Profile at the top-right corner, and from the drop-down menu select Account.
Go to the ‘Your Plan’ tab and click on Change Plan.
Go to the next page, find Spotify Free, and click on Cancel Premium
You will see what you will lose by canceling your Premium subscription. Click ‘Continue to cancel’ at the bottom and on the next page click on Continue to cancel again.
Next, to confirm your cancellation, click Yes. It will then take you to Spotify Free account.
- Cancel Spotify using Apple ID If you have subscribed through Apple App Store, you can cancel Spotify Premium subscription via iPhone’s Apple ID settings.
Using your iPhone or iPad, open ‘Settings’At the top of the Settings homepage, tap on your name and Apple ID.Next, click on SubscriptionsNext, find and select SpotifyOn the Spotify page, select Cancel Subscription
