Idea behind the Doodle

Divyanshi had remarked, “When I grow up, I hope the trees could walk or fly. The land could be cleared so easily without making them die. There would be so little deforestation and humans can just ask trees and their friends to move to another place. With movable oxygen generators, it will be the beginning of a new era.” When later enquired by Google’s team, Divyanshi said that she got the idea after seeing trees being cut around her grandmother’s house. Her creative doodle was showcased on the Google India homepage on Children’s Day. She also won Rs. 5,00,000 worth of college scholarship and Rs. 200,000 technology award for her school as the national winner.
